Well after sitting overnite, the glow in the dark powder is starting to

slowly settle to the bottom of the bodywash. But I think with a thicker

base it would work. So dont give up hope.

Actually i have seen an additive around some place to make items glow

in the dark. I will have to do some digging but i think I have

definatly seen something in a forum or something once before. I will

see if i can find it.

It's cool that you tried it!!! Yeah, a thicker suspension base might work, I

guess. It would be so much fun for Halloween! :) Thanks for the feedback,

guys!

Ok I tried mixing a thicker base with the GID stuf I made up and it worked

wonderful! Its been sitting 24 hours now and no settling out. I tried to

take a picture last nite but you cant really see that its glowing because

the flash of the camera. anyway Im pretty jazzed about this :).

nne, today I thikened regular body wash with Xanathen gum and it worked

well cept now I think I used too much because I cant get the foamy bubbles

out LOL. Im hoping that the bubbles will settle in time but the GID powder

is staying suspended! YEAH Next time I wont use so much X gum. Tonite when

my dd takes her bath, I want to see what kind of bubble bath this makes.

And if the bubbles glow.

Has anybody used Silica powder to thicken water based stuf? I know its

usualy used for thickening oil in a salt scrub.

To thicken water based stuff that is premade (like shower gel that has gon

runny) I use Crothix liquid. I also use Pro-gel from KellerNaturals. The

pro-gel you add to plain water and it becomes gelled. I then take that and

mix it with my other ingredients.
