PAMPERS PERKS USA FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thank you for your interest in the Pampers Perks program. The program

began in February 1, 2001, officially ended on January 31, 2002, and

is over. As you may know, it has been a very popular program, and was

offered on a " while supplies last " basis, with products subject to

availability. The supply of toys that Pampers secured for this

program is depleted. We're pleased with the consumer response to this

program, and in fact, when all shipments are complete, we will have

shipped in excess of half a million toys.

For your awareness, there are legal requirements involving

backordered items. If we are unable to ship your item(s) within 12

weeks, we are required to offer you an option of either a delay in

shipping or a refund of anything you have sent us. If the revised

shipping date is 30 days or more later than the original time (or if

a revised date cannot be given), we must inform you that your order

will be automatically cancelled unless you send us a response

consenting to the shipping delay. If you fall into this category, you

will receive notification from us by mail letting you know how to

proceed. If you like, we will, of course, cancel your order and

return all Perks Points and shipping and handling costs you sent to

us.

If you have further questions regarding the program, please check the

list of Frequently Asked Questions that we have provided below. We

hope that this will help to answer your questions.

If you would like to contact us, please call our customer service

line's toll free number, 866-422-2973. Please be aware, though, that

Perks became increasingly popular in its final months, and we are

experiencing a large volume of calls. We are currently adding more

phone lines, and appreciate your continued patience.

We are committed to consumer satisfaction, and want our loyal

consumers to know we value their participation.

1. When did the Pampers Perks Program end?

The US Pampers Perks program ended January 31, 2002, as indicated on

Pampers.com and in the Program's promotional materials. (Please note:

the Canadian Pampers Perks program ends March 31, 2002. See question

#5 below for more information.)

2. How long will it take to receive my Perks item(s)?

Please allow up to 12 weeks for shipment of your Pampers Perks order,

while supplies last. You will be notified by mail, if for some reason

your requested item is backordered or no longer available. At this

point, our toy selections are depleted.

weeks, we are required to offer you an option of either a delay in

shipping or a refund of anything you have sent us. If the revised

shipping date is 30 days or more later than the original time (or if

a revised date cannot be given), we must inform you that your order

will be automatically cancelled unless you send us a response

consenting to the shipping delay. If you fall into this category, you

will receive notification from us by mail letting you know how to

proceed.

3. I sent my order a while ago. Why haven't I heard anything?

According to the promotion guidelines, it could take up to 12 weeks

from the time we received your mail-in certificate to process and

ship your Perks item(s), while supplies last. If you would like to

check the status of your order, please contact Perks customer service

using the phone number provided above. We will also be providing

updates by mail.

4. I received a notice that my toy is backordered. When will I

receive my order?

The popularity of the Perks program and the limited supply of items

(as stated in our promotional guidelines) have resulted in some

delays. The date we expect to ship the backordered item to you is

included on the notice we mailed to you. The rules of this promotion

allow you to cancel your order if we cannot fulfill the item to you

within 12 weeks. If you choose to cancel, we will return to you all

Perks Points and shipping and handling costs that you have sent us.

If you would like to cancel or check the status of your order, please

contact Perks customer service using the phone number provided above.

We will also be providing updates by mail.

5. If my toy is on backorder, can I order items from the Pampers

Perks Canada program instead?

We're glad you like the Canadian Pampers Perks program. However, US

consumers cannot order any of the Canadian Perks items because the US

and Canada have different toy safety and packaging standards. The

same is true for Canadian consumers who were interested in the US

Perks program.

6. I sent my order by January 31, 2002, but I understand many Perks

items are out of stock. What about me?

Please keep in mind that the Perks items were available on a " while

supplies last " basis, with products subject to availability. The

supply of toys that Pampers secured for this program is depleted. We

will be updating you soon by mail. If you prefer to cancel your

order, we will return to you all Perks Points and shipping and

handling costs that you have sent us.

7. My Shipping and Handling Check was cashed. Why haven't I received

my toy?

Federal regulation requires that we cash your check upon receipt,

rather than hold it until we send your item(s). Please allow up to 12

weeks from the time we received your mail-in certificate for shipment

of your Pampers Perks order, as noted in the promotional materials.

8. I received a black Jeep that says JEEP ENFORCER JR. Is this the

Lil Wrangler I ordered?

Yes. Consumers could receive either a red or black Jeep. The red Jeep

is called the Lil Wrangler; the black Jeep is called the Enforcer Jr.

9. I have sent email/called your 800 number, and have had trouble

getting through.

Perks became increasingly popular during the last few months of the

program; we are adding new phone lines and are in the process of

updating consumers by mail. We appreciate your patience during this

transition period.

10. If the Perks Program has ended, why are there still Perks Points

on the diaper bags? Will I be able to use these for a future

promotion?

It takes some time to change the packaging. These points cannot be

submitted, because the program has now ended. There are currently no

plans to run another Perks promotion.

Just wanted to tell you all that my hubby tried calling them this

afternoon to see what was up. He of course got a recording saying

something to the effect that due to an overwhelming response, we

should send all correspondence via email and they will respond to us

there. Or we have the option to stay on the line and wait to speak

with someone. He was automatically disconnected after about a

minute. So he emailed Pampers like the recording had told him to

do. He got an email back from them saying that due to an

overwhelming response, they will not be able to respond to any emails

and he should try calling the 866 number! Gotta love it!

Allright, I think its time for me to pull out the big guns (meaning

my dictionary and thesauraus) to write a huge complaint letter!

Crud-gotta go. Kev just threw a softball at Danny! See what happens

when I turn my back for a second!
