Just like Marci was saying, the post office leaves a card in your box telling you they have cert. mail for you, then you go to the counter & they make you sign for it - then give you the item. FYI for anyone else who plans on mailing it certified, the post office will not let you mail it certified in the envelope pampers provided - you need to address it on a plain envelope.
