Guest guest
Hi everyone, My daughter got her helmet last Friday. She has taken to wearing it quite well. I am just a little concerned about how it fits. It is a helmet not a band. It seems to be coming down near her eyes alot. When she lays on her back when sleeping it really comes down on her forehead. I keep pushing it back on her head. Is this normal. Usually when she wakes up from sleeping she cries right away for me to come and get her. This morning I heard her playing in her crib and babbling to herself (it was cute, because usually she doesn't do this). I went in to see what was going on and what did I see? Her helmet was off and she had her arm through the hole on the top and was chewing on it. I did not think that she was supposed to be able to take it off. I saw her physical therapist today for her tort and she thought the helmet needed adusting. When I first got her helmet on Friday the orthodist said that there would be some play to the helmet because of the flat spot on her head. He assured me that in a couple of weeks her head would grow and it would fit more snugly. I am supposed to see him next Monday, but I'm wondering if I should try and see him sooner. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks! Helen and __________________________________________________
