Of course we remember you!! Weren't you like 2 time poster girl or

something?? I used to get you and Maggie confused... I think because

you both showed abs by like your 2nd BFL meal or something and I was

insanely jealous! It is good to see you and great to hear that you

are still going strong. Post more often!

It's so good to see you around here again! Please say you'll stay

around and post??!!

Congrats on finishing the 5K! A 5.5mph pace is great! And congrats on

keeping with the program for so long. Are you still working out with

a trainer? Let us know what you're doing these days...inquiring minds

want to know :)

And if any of you ladies are looking for GREAT inspiration, check out

's photos in the df folder. Great progress!!

was always my role model on this board...she was always four or five

weeks ahead of me and I always tried to keep on pace with her.

Take care :)

Maggie

Hi Lynda,

Yep, that's me... still amazed that I made poster girl status

twice. :-D Glad you remember me though!

It's excellent that you are still around too -- how are you doing??

I haven't been posting much because, truthfully, I'm not living the

BFL life. Yes, I'm working out faithfully, and yes, I'm eating

pretty well during the days. But the evening demons descend and I

get the carb munchies. The good news is that while I've gained back

10 pounds since my lowest weight, I've maintained this weight and

pant size (still an 8 - yeah!). Phew!

My abs aren't as ripped as they were at that low weight anymore, but

they're still bikini worthy, IMHO. When they were at their most

defined, I was at 13.5% body fat, and it was incredibly difficult to

maintain such a low bf! Now I'm comfortably at ~20%, which is just

fine with me. :-)

At this point, my goals are about running -- increasing my 5k pace

to more like 8-9mph by this time next year. Wish me luck!

And I wish YOU all luck!

Hi Maggie!

Yay, you're still around! How are YOU doing?? Are you still living

the BFL lifestyle?

As I just wrote to Lynda, I'm not really living the BFL life at this

point, but I'm maintaining and continuing to work out. I did dump

the trainer many months back. Every week he was throwing a new

workout routine at me, each time saying we'd stick with it for a

couple months... but come the next Monday, it'd be something

completely different... I came to the point where I figured he

didn't know what the heck he was doing... and dumped him. ;-)

Nowadays I'm still doing weight training three days a week and

cardio (usually running on the treadmill) three days a week. I

don't stick to a particular workout routine as far as intervals or

sets/reps go. But when doing weight training, I always push myself

to a 10 and always do multiple sets with increasing weights,

finishing up with reps to failure. As far as running goes, a

running buddy of mine told me that in order to increase my 5k pace,

I should run at a moderate pace for the first two miles and then do

intervals of moderate/sprint until I've finished the 5k. So THAT'S

my new cardio plan. Did a 5k on the treadmill this morning in 32

minutes. Okay!

By the way -- YOU are totally role-model worthy!

Best,

!!!! Welcome back! It's great to see you here again. Congratulations on

your 5k.

Thank you Body for Life!

Hi Ladies,

I haven't checked in for months... don't even know who's out there

anymore, and if anyone I know is here too. Just wanted to shout out

a " yeah, body for life! " . This time two years ago, I was winded

just walking up a hill. Today I ran my first 5k, and made my goal

of nearly a 5.5mph pace. Wahoo!!!

Ladies, if you have any questions of whether you can do it -- you

CAN! If I can, YOU can.

Go!

Hi !

My idol! I see from your website that you're going for a little

shrinkage of your biceps now... Sometimes it's a blessing how well

some of us can put on muscle mass, sometimes it's a real pain!

Thanks for the welcome!
