- Grace is six months old. We were one of the lucky ones that were dx early and had a ped. that jumped right on it and got us moving in the right direction. So she had her helmet before she was 4 months old. How long was Dane in his first helmet? We are still going to see where she is when this time pd is up that the orthotist gave us. If we are not happy with the slight tilt she has left and are still worried about it me may opt for another helmet also? I will see how this next one month and two weeks go! ~ and Grace
