Guest guest
Hi laura Believe me the DOCBAND works my son Dylan is in his second has he had very severe plagio. He was 8months old when he went into his first band and within 2 weeks i could notice a difference. I know its takes time but Dylan is 13months now and it does seem to have gone very fast. His head has rounded nicely at the back and his facial assymmetry as gone apart from some bossing on the left of his forehead which is what the second band is pushing back. Dylans ears were badly misaligned but even those have moved i have been told not to expect 100% but so far i am really pleased. All the best for you and zac. You will definatley see improvement its hard as you do obsess looking at them but one day you will looking and say " oh my god its working " kind regards Kerry (marcus 3 and Dylan 1) >From: " perrizac " <perrizac@...> >Reply-Plagiocephaly >Plagiocephaly >Subject: treatment with dr blecher in london >Date: Fri, 29 Mar 2002 20:30:30 -0000 > >i just wanted to let everyone know that zac went for his casting 2 >weeks ago fairly traumatic but over very quickly phew! any way zac >got his helmet on monday it took me a few days to adjust to seeing >him in it felt a bit emotional as it has been a long road to get to >this stage as you all understand he seems to be adjusting fairly well >but 6 months plus seems such a long time for him to be stuck in >it,anyway we have no choice if we want a better shaped head for zac, >please can someone reassure me that it really works and when i might >see some changes as i can not believe that it will happen it is very >similar to a doc band any advice would be lovely thanks all who have >replied to my mails in the past zac is now 7 months old > >laura > _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. Guest guest
Hi , Glad to hear Zac is doing well in his new band - on got his from Dr Blecher last Wednesday - i know what you mean about feeling quite emotional seeing them in the band - i was the same too - but it is for the best. I'm sure that Zac can't have cranio if he has had xrays that show that the sutures are still open - cranio is where the sutures have fused prematurely and that would have showed up on the xrays. So if he has had xrays done - i'm sure as sure it won't turn out to be cranio later. Take care, Eleanor ( mum to on UK) --- perrizac <perrizac@...> wrote:

i just wanted to let everyone know that zac went for his casting 2
weeks ago fairly traumatic but over very quickly phew! any way zac
got his helmet on monday it took me a few days to adjust to seeing
him in it felt a bit emotional as it has been a long road to get to
this stage as you all understand he seems to be adjusting fairly well
but 6 months plus seems such a long time for him to be stuck in
it,anyway we have no choice if we want a better shaped & nbsp; head for zac,
please can someone reassure me that it really works and when i might
see some changes as i can not believe that it will happen it is very
similar to a doc band any advice would be lovely thanks all who have
replied to my mails in the past zac is now 7 months old

laura

Guest guest
, I've heard good things from the people who have used the band made by Dr. Blecher. I really do believe that you will never regret your choice. How quickly you see results really depends on the growth spurts your baby goes through. If he gets the helmet and then hits a growth spurt soon after you would see results very quickly. Good luck and don't worry - you're doing the right thing!
