Guest guest Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 Hi - My name is Nadine and I live in Westford, MA with my husband, Jeff, and my two kids. is 11 with Down syndrome and is in 5th grade and Trent is 8 (non DS) in 3rd. As siblings, they are extremely close and have both been such a joy. is extremely social and is an excellent hip hop dancer. She hates vacations because she loves school sooooo much! She had a complete AV canal repair on her heart at 3 months old and has been healthy ever since. Our main focus for has been social skills. I created social skills discussion cards and a web site to help children who struggle socially which launched in the spring of '07 and have been doing classroom chats about special needs, seminars, and various other forms of social skills consulting ever since. Having a child with Down syndrome has changed my life in so many amazing ways and I feel so blessed to have been selected to be 's mom!
