No rain on this side of WV yet. Tim went to Walmart with me and we

came out and I thought snow was on the ground. Turned out to be salt

in preperation for the big ice storm.

I don't know about other Walmarts - but ours appears to have tons of

stuff that other stores have limited quantities of (Christmas stuff).

Our home depot reduce all their Christmas items last weekend. I wanted

another Christmas tree for the basement- but I won't pay full

price...lol!

Tomorrow is my big cleaning day and then some wrapping. I'm hoping to

do my shopping on Tuesday and next Saturday. Nothing like the last

minute rush.

We stayed home all day and I baked cookies. I made 12 varieties and 3 kinds of

candy. I then make up tins of the stuff for therapists, latch key people,

neighbors.

Kate is on the Royal Court of the Winter Ball tonight. She looks absolutely

beautiful. She had to wear one formal for the dance, and have a second (ivory)

for the coronation. The coronation gown has hoops and a bustle/train. She looks

so very sophisticated. My baby is growing up...Her boyfriend of 2.5 years ask me

today if it is ok that he gives Kate a promise ring for Christmas...

Karrie's dad didn't come to get her today. Please say a prayer that Karrie do

well tonight. I have to take her with me to the Ball. At one point, Kate is

" presented " to the crowd, then to me. She will bow to me and give me a rose.

Just praying that Karrie will sit still
