Guest guest
My name is . I have a five yr. old daughter named Amberlynn. She has Down Syndrome and is fabulous. I've been listening for a lil while so forgive me for not introducing myself earlier. We are from MA. but now we live in N.C. My family has moved here also to be near us and are very supportive and loving to Amber. I'm a single mom but I have a wonderful man who just adores my little girl as much as she adores him. I'm finding it very nice to hear from all of you. People just don't know what it's like unless they walk in your shoes. I think you're just wonderful for reaching out and helping each other with so much warmth and encouragement. Thanx.
Guest guest
Welcome to the group - I am sure you will continue to find the group a benefit to you and you will start to feel many of us are 'family'. My husband, who is still back in the 1950's and doesn't understand computers or the net, gets very annoyed when I talk about my friends - friends from this group or friends from another - his opinion if I haven't meet you in person how can you be a friend! Best wishes to you both and you know there are lots of people here with loads of knowledge and information in regards to lots of aspects to our children's lives. Keep smiling Jan, mother of Trent 23yo w/DS from the LandDownUnder (who is currently watching the Wiggles!!!!) Introducing myself : ) My name is . I have a five yr. old daughter named Amberlynn.
