It's been a long time since I made a smoothie! I used to have problems with the

green smoothies. I liked how they tasted well enough but afterwards I was

miserable! Upset stomach and other digestive issues for hours after a smoothie.

I eventually got past that by starting slowly and increasing the greens. Well

then I was going to show off with green ice cream. I messed it up bad enough

that not only was I not inclined to fix it but hadn't made a green smoothie or

any smoothie in months!

A few months ago I decided to try a low carb diet again. I'd lost a lot of

weight with it before and need to lose a lot now. Well I've not done real well

at following that either but I have been eating a lot of fat.

Last night after work we went to red robin. we split some onion rings and

ordered some burgers. I hadn't even taken a bite of my burger yet when this

awful pain hit me. It started in my back it seemed like my whole back. Slowly it

concentrated to between the shoulder blades and through to the front! Scared the

heck out of me! I tried to let it pass but in the end we went to the ER.

They ruled out a heart condition yea! She wasn't real sure if it was gallbladder

but we both thought it probably was. The pain past on it's own and I was sent

home with orders to follow up with a primary care doctor.

So here I am again drinking a smoothie with just a bit of spinach added to it.

I'm almost afraid to eat anything else right now.
