Guest guest
That sounds so nice! I've been on that side of the mountains once, me and my brother went camping somewhere out there. I can't remember the name of the park, we just drove until we didn't feel like driving anymore and that's where we ended up. It felt really different out there though, it was really nice. Everyone drove nice and slow, and seemed so calm. And you are right, I am lucky, except that I hate the rain! > , > I live in Richland, it is in the tricities area of > Eastern washington along the columbia river. Guest guest
You can have it! I keep waiting for the rainy season to start... so I can be depressed for 6 months. I attempted to move to California one time just to get away from it. I'm not sure where we camped, there was a river with a waterfall nearby, very gorgeous. I know it was a state campground. > Gosh , > I love the rain!!!! You could trade me, there is not > much rain so far here. And yes, people are very slow > drivers here. Guest guest
haha! Now that is strange! Actually, I know a few people like that, they look forward to winter. I've even thought of getting one of those lamps that simulates sunshine on occasion, when winter really gets to me. I just have to keep reminding myself that I should be glad I live where I do though, there is so much about here that I love, namely the ocean. I almost moved to Alberta a couple years back, but couldn't stand the thought of being away from the ocean. I'm so glad I didn't now! > See, what is weird about me is that I get depressed > with the sun! I like shade and rainy cloudy days. > Isn't that so weird? Guest guest
See, what is weird about me is that I get depressed with the sun! I like shade and rainy cloudy days. Isn't that so weird? ********************************************** LOL,,not so weird,,I'm not that crazy about sunny days either, not cuz they depress me,,cuz I sunburn VERY easily. I like looking at a bright pretty day as long as I'm INSIDE, safe from the sun,,,but to play outdoors? I prefer slightly overcast and cool,,,even misty to light rain. Complexion protection I say,,,lol
Guest guest
For what it's worth - I hate summer - Give me a crisp fall, winter or spring anytime Re: Richland washington See, what is weird about me is that I get depressed with the sun! He grew up in Shelton and his parents still live there. I asked if he'd like to move back but he said NO WAY only because the rain was very depressing. He did say it is very beautiful during the other seasons though. Colleen

Guest guest
You are right Kathi, it's about 2 hours North of Seattle. Just across the Washington border. > I thought Vancouver BC was kind of by Washington. It > still rains there right. Isn't it across the bay or > something?
