Wow Wow! You are doing great. Isn't it exciting? I have no doubt that you

will reach (and probably surpass) your goal of 200 lbs in the next half. Great

job, !

6 week report card

Tomorrow is the end of my sixth week. I took my free day today. So, I took

my measurements today. For those of you that haven't heard from me before,

this is my first challenge. Here is goes. The first number is my starting

numbers and the second is today's.

Weight 234 218

Waist 42 38.5

Rt Thigh 32.75 32.5

Rt Calf 18 17.5

Rt Bicept 15 14

Hips are a bit of a problem. The first measurement was 49.25. Then a week

later we took a measurement and it was 52. I know that in one week I didn't

put on almost three inches. We think the second measurement was more

accurate because we went with my hip bones as a marker. Anyway, today's

measurement is 45. I am still hoping to make 200 by the end of my challenge.

16# in six weeks is great! And to loose 3.5 " off your waiste! Wow,

you must be thrilled.

At this rate you should be right around 200 by the end of the next 6

weeks. Did you take before pics? Take some progress pics now, you

will see these changes in them, and it will help you keep focused.

Congrats on your progress so far.

Thanks for all of the support and kind words. If anyone is

interested, I uploaded another picture to my album. This time I can

even see a change. It is strange, but I am on a roller coaster. One

minute I am thrilled about the changes that have happened. Then I

step in front of a mirror and get depressed by what I see. Then I

notice something else and get excited all over again. Then that

mirror shows up. Up and down. Sometime along the way, I stopped

noticing my weight. I think it was about 6 years ago. So, today I

pulled out my medical records for the last 12 years to check my

weights. When I was married in 89, I weighted almost 190. A year

before that when I got together with my now DH, I was 35 pounds

lighter. I haven't been this weight since I got pregnant with my

second son. My DH's only complaint about this weight loss is that I

have gone from a H cup to a DD. He is calling me flat chest now. LOL

I don't know if this is allowed, but I thought I would slip it in.

Let me know if it is against the rules. My mother survived breast

cancer last year.

If you go to the Cigna web site and click on the pink ribbon, Cigna

will

donate $1.00 to fight breast cancer. Only good for the month of

October -

pass it on!

http://www.cignafoundation.org/

One last thing. When I was uploading my picture, I was messing

around and added the same picture twice. I thought I would be able

to delete off the extra picture. It wouldn't let me. If the owner

of the list would like to do it for me (just leave the current

picture), I would appreciate it. I know that space is an issue. I

don't know who the list owner is.

Thanks,

WA
