Guest guest
Update: Day 7 Well, I made it to the one week milestone! Had a bit of nausea the last two days, but that may have been from one of two things: 1. weening-off the pain meds (Vicadin). Has anyone ever heard of this? 2. all those stool softners they had me taking for the first few days. Who knows. The nausea is improved today so far. I'm pain-med-free now......feels great to not need those anymore. Interestingly, the gas pains that were so oppressively painful the first few days have now subsided, and I can now feel the actual muscular " incision " site tightness and mild discomfort that had been masked all this time. Amazing how that all works. I have been taking walks around the block, watering the lawn and plants, and going up and down stairs. It feels good to get out (cabin fever!). BP readings still hovering around 120's & 130's over 80's & 90's. I'm still holding-back my complete excitement until a few more weeks go by. More to come. Cheers, -Kip > > > > > Hi Farah, > > > > > > I was lucky enough to not have to drive myself home, as this > would > > > have been dangerous and impossible, really. Guest guest
Hi Hip, Vicadin does that to you. When I was in the hospital and I was having pain, they gave me and it made me very nautious. It was quite bad. Also few months ago my daughter had to remove all of her wisdom teeth(ouch), and her doctor gave her for pain. He suggested that she take an anti nausea meds he prescribed 1/2 hr before taking the . That helped a lot. Glad to hear you are doing so much better. Peace, Farahkip_pm <kip_pm@...> wrote: Update: Day 7Well, I made it to the one week milestone!Had a bit of nausea the last two days, but that may have been from one of two things: 1. weening-off the pain meds (Vicadin). Guest guest
Sorry for mis-spelling your name. I am using this computer with a mind of its own I have to pretty much guess when I type. sometimes it just types & sends without me moving a finger. Sometimes I wonder if its a virus but McAfee is not detecting any. Oh well :)kip_pm <kip_pm@...> wrote: Update: Day 7Well, I made it to the one week milestone!Had a bit of nausea the last two days, but that may have been from one of two things: 1. weening-off the pain meds (Vicadin).
