Guest guest
I have the reverse osmosis unit from Costco and love it. The water tastes great! I also have a Berkey. I must be one of the rare, few people who does not like the taste of the water that came out of my Berkey. My Berkey has the extra filter to get rid of fluoride I've always wondered if that had something to do with the "off" taste. I did, however, keep using it for quite some time to give it a chance to really flush out that second filter, but it didn't improve the taste.I'm glad that I have a Berkey though (for preparedness reasons). Then once he retired and realized how many filters we were going through, he began to look. He comes in one day and says, I found this great filter called a Berkey. (Yeah I had a hard time keeping a straight face). I looked at his link and said, yes go ahead. Now he wants a bigger one and put this 2 gallon one in the RV. Husbands!! Sometimes you just have to let them figure it out for themselves.VeldaOn 4/8/2011 8:22 AM, FOOD FUN wrote:> Oh yes, we love our Berkey too. We had a pur for over 15 years.
