Guest guest
My gardening friend at work recommended ammending my soil with peat moss and cow manure. I guess I am off to Lowes to see what they have. Thanks everyone, > > http://site.cleanairgardening.com/info/the-dirt-on-dolomite-using-dolomite-in-or\ ganic-gardens.html > > I have never added dolomite into my soil. I have added pearlite and vermiculite to aerate the soil a bit in my containers. I would appreciate any sage advice on this one. The directions recommend dolomite and fertilizer that is granulated and non-soluble. > > >
Guest guest
Don't use dolomite for any acid loving plant. Do you have a clay heave soil? Or is it sandy and dry. What you add depends on what you start with. Guest guest
Well, it changes the pH so in that regard it is rather a soil conditioner. terry On May 10, 2011, at 10:23 PM, cking001@... wrote: > Dolomite is a Calcium and magnesium source. > > As a supplement , it was the first thing that gave me relief from a > terrible back pain. > > In the garden, I think I'd consider it as a fertilizer rather than a > soil conditioner and feed lightly. > > Chuck > An onomatopia is a social-political system that just sounds good >
