Guest guest
Karin, 1) I would ask if they know joint compressions and brush therapy. I would also ask if they know about Kensio taping (it is like ace bandage that once on will help strengthen the truck area) I swear by this? 2) I would start as soon as you feel the baby is ready. I would also look into oral motor therapy as some children had texture and low tone in their faces which makes it harder to tolerate foods. In my case, it has also delayed my sons talking. It is one of those if I knew then what I know now. That would be done by most speech people and I would fight hard for it. They may tell you that you don't need it but they tend to wait till there is signs of problems and that is too late or it takes longer to recover. We do interior mouth rubbing and we even use flavors like peppermint and strong liquid cinnamin.
