Guest guest
Hi I know Im off topic but Im looking for info on childhood allergies. Tater my only grandchild just went through allergy tests today and my poor daughter is all weepy now ...... the usual how did I miss this, am I a bad Mom etc........... you all know the emotions young moms go through ooooooooooops I still go through them lol Ben is allergic to *Milk, *Celery, Soy, all nuts (*peanuts, *cashews), *all beans, peas, wheat, *rice, strawberries, tomatoes ........... *starred items are the highest. He's also allergic to all pollen ............ tree, grass. Ragweed, .............. animal dander, mold, dust. The reason she took him to the allergist was a chronic stuffy nose (sometimes bleeding), he's been breathing only through his mouth. He also has the cough from nasal drip at night. He's missed so much school since Christmas and I told her that here in TN this allergy season has been off the charts. The allergist said he has to have shots weekly but that's it ............. that's all he basically said and for her to go back to the pediatrician. Does anyone know what's going to happen next? Any experiences with this. Ben is almost 7 and he is staying with me this summer until gets moved here in Aug. and I want to make this summer fun and SAFE for him, any help I would appreciate I was a child with horrible allergies, gigantic hives for years. I went through all the tests too. Life today is pretty allergy free or at least Ive learned to tolerate the symptoms.
