A cursory search indicates that you may be right although they might have made one previously. Sounds like you're good to go here regardless!

- You have both? I'm so jealous. I love my universal, but was not able to

afford the extras. Hoping I can soon. That is why I looked into getting the

blender when mentioned it, then found out it would not fit my machine.

Guess it just was not time for me to have it yet. :>{

My time will come though. I got my pressure canner this year, had my Vitamix for

awhile now, as well as other smaller gadgets. No where near 's league

though.

There's one listed on eBay but it's $70. :( I really wish the blender and slicer had fit--I was going to ask $50 for both. :((

It works for my husband, my Chief Enabler too. How great is that?

He's the one who saw the latest VM on a Costco ad and said, "Do you

think you might like a new VM ? It looks nice and is probably

quieter and comes with 3 containers -lg, sm, and dry". I said, let

me think about it, when can you order it (took me that long to

decide). ROTFLOL He had it in my kitchen within a week. Been used at

least daily since. He is sooooo helpful.

I only use my

oat flaker to

make oatmeal.

I have a

Nutrimill for

flour.. My

oatmeal and

freshly flaked

oats are so

much better

than anything

in a box. I

like oatmeal

but I dont

love it so I

try to put a

uncooked

oatmeal in

smoothies a

time or two.

What I do love

is homemade

with the oats

that I flake.

Poor

....I

would be

kicking myself

too if I had

sold my Bosch

Compact. Ive

done similar

things. Maybe

you could find

another one on

Ebay.

I have never even tried gnocchi but use my philosophy for things we

like and know we will do again. That was why I bought the VM instead

of a Oster blender. And why I bought a high quality mixer years ago

instead of a $30 Walmart brand. IF I know I will make that food

again, I buy the quality machine/gadget to do it easily.

I

don't eat gnocchi often enough to justify a gnocchi maker plus

the required ingredients are going to keep increasing in price,

too, not to mention the cost of my time. In addition, the ones I

make aren't going to be as good as the ones made in Italy

(terroir and all that). In this case, ready-made is just too

cheap to consider the alternative. However, I really don't have

a source for good spätlze (my mom always bought Maggi), so a

board might be a worthwhile investment.

Now if my husband had been like that, he might still be my husband, roflmbo.... No that wasn't the real reason I divorced him, he was a professional cheater.lol

Speaking of pancake recipes, here is one that will give the dry blades a workout! It calls for wheatberry flour *and* chickpea flour! http://www.nutritionmd.org/recipes/view.html?recipe_id=1110If you can't open the link for any reason, let me know!
