Hi ........how about the 4 in 1 by Safety 1st? He would have to sit up

with the seat in place (1 of the 4 positions) ALTHOUGH.........made me smile to

think of how simply adorable that would be to see Chase with his little

poogies in his mouth =)

When they get older I use either a ramp type thing that is mesh on a wire frame.

It's under $10 at Walmart, Target.. that type of store. You put them in the big

bathtub and they lay down as it holds their head higher.

There is also the bathtub ring which has suction cups to stick on the bottom of

the tub and then it holds the baby sitting up. I have used that for babies who

aren't totally sitting up but don't need to lay down all together.

Hope this helps.

That is a good one. The only problem that I had was that mine leaked (of course

I didn't realize it until there was water everywhere!), but the concept is great

and probably would work.

(8 months) is MAJORLY into his feet now too. He outgrew his baby bathtub,

so I've just started putting him (laying down) into the regular bathtub, with

just a tiny bit of water (just below his ears when laying down). He LOVES it -

he can splash around so much more than in the baby bathtub.

Hey all-

I was wondering if you all had a better experience with a specific

infant tub for your child. Chase is nine months and not sitting up and

he has the biggest foot fettish (we can't get him to not grab his feet

and put them in his mouth). So considering he is always bent in half,

getting him not to slide all over the place in his countertop tub is

pretty laboring. If you have any suggestions, I would be most

grateful! :)

Thanks,

Mom to n (4 yrs) and Chase (9 months, DS & IS)

I don't remember exactly at what age but was very small when

I started putting him in the tub on his tummy. He loved that and didn't

splash quite as high. We had to watch closely, as of course any child in a bath

tub should be watched, as he could roll over, but we all enjoyed it. Jessie

Thanks to everyone who gave me some ideas on a (possible) bath time experience.

That was supposed to read " a (possible) less work-related bath time experience " .

That's my " mom-brain " for ya! lol!
