Alopecia-Maybe Dr. L has a thought on this?

Just a little while ago someone was asking questions about alopecia. I noticed

tonight that has a small area underneath with hair loss. She had this

years ago when we moved from RI to Florida and again when she began school.

Both stressful times. I wonder if all the stress of the surgery caused this. Or

could it have something to do with having hypothyroidism? When she had it before

we used a topical solution and I switched her shampoo to one with biotin. What

is the treatment for alopecia these days? Whatever we used back then it was

successful.

Our daughter had a patch of hair that was bald for a little while and we

narrowed it down to when we upped her dose of Concerta, which we

subsequently lowered back down. She was also more fidgety, so we figured it

just wasn't working properly for her.
