Hi, Jahjet. I think that anytime you reply to a message (as opposed

to starting a new message), it falls under the original heading.

(Even if you change the subject line, which I usually try to do.)

Sorry, but I just posted a response to the last note I saw, before

I read this! If I reply to any other responses, I'll start a new

post, k?

A panda walks into a bar, asks for a dish of bamboo, eats it, then takes out a gun, shoots around randomly, reholsters the gun and walks out.

The bartender runs after him: “Hey, Sir! You've got no business coming into my bar, eating my food, shooting down the whole place and then walk away just like that!”

The panda answers: “Of course I do! I'm a panda! Look it up!”

The bartenders goes back to his bar, finds an old dictionary, where he reads this definition:

Panda (masc. noun): a chinese bear who eats bamboo shoots and leaves.

Subject: Fw: The Indian and the Buffalo

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun

In one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.

He says to the waiter:

" Want coffee. "

The waiter says, " Sure, Chief. Coming right up. "

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.

The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp,

Turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,

Causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere

And then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns.

He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling

Another male buffalo with the other.

He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter

" Want coffee. "

The waiter says " Whoa, Tonto!

We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.

What was all that about, anyway? "

The Indian smiles and proudly says ..

Charlie,

fax and/or snail mail them back and let them know that you now charge $5 per page of unsolicited fax received.

"Thank you for doing business with our company. We now charge a fee to receive any unsolicited faxes. You (add name of company here) will be billed $5 per page of unsolicited fax received to cover the cost of paper, ink, staff time, utility and fax machine maintenance. Please be advised that as of ______date, all future unsolicited faxes received will be billed to you. A bill will be sent to your office as well as faxed to you. Payment will be due 14 days following the faxed statement. Continued faxes will be considered as (enter name of company here.) agreement to this contract and your willingness to do business with our company under these agreed upon terms.

Then when they send the next fax:

<Repeat the same language and add:>

"Payment is due on ________date as per your faxed agreement with our company. Failure to pay for the work you've contracted with our company will require our company to send you to collections. Thank you for doing business with our company."

Minga Guerrero DC

if they persist, perhaps there may be an error of 100 pages of fax sent to them on the next round. It would most certainly be an accident on the part of your staff.

, I was just in lin for the first time in Feb. My brother sent one of my daughters out here so she and I could attend the Amy Grant-- W. Friends tour. We had a great time but drove back to Asheville for the night before heading home the next day. So I didn't get to spend any extra time in lin. I could tell though that the area is definitely in a growing mode. MarthaFrom: Berry <berrywell@...>To:

I know the Dillards well! I was manager of the Ford dealership in Clayton for years, which is owned by the Duvall family, but they are married into the Dillards. Connie Dillard is a close friend. The Dillard House is a wonderful place! I no longer eat in ANY restaurants because of my food allergies, but that was once a favorite. I live just a few miles from it. It is indeed a small world, isn't it?

Yes, it keeps getting smaller!

I don’t know any of the Dillards but we did go to the Dillard House one time just to see the old gun that is hanging over the door that belonged to Dillard. I think he used it during the Revolutionary War. I descend from his daughter . The Dillards at the restaurant descend from one of ’s brothers. Tell my cuzzins I said hello the next time you see them.

We owned the Highlands Tasty Shoppe--on the order of a DQ. It was in front of

Lee's Inn. My parents were divorced. Mom lived on Big Bearpen and Daddy lived on

Mirror Lake. We also had a truck farm on about 80 acres in Otto. Wish I had it

now!!! Daddy died and Mom bought a condominium bldg on Singer Island in Fla.

Been in FL ever since. I always dreamed of moving back to western NC--even made

hubby PROMISE when we married. But, alas, we never made it. My heart has always

been there though. Tell your daughter that my senior year was the first year

Elliot Wigginton taught there and all us kids worked on the first Foxfire book.

Looking back, it was quite the life!

WOW! I live in FL and feel the same way about missing Missouri, and the 250 acre that I grew up on. We lost that farm to interest rates (my parents took out a variable interest rate loan). AND I was on the Bittersweet staff! (Bittersweet was just like Foxfire). What a bunch of coincidences!
