Guest guest Posted April 16, 2011 Report Share Posted April 16, 2011 Just a question for you all about fresh dates. Do you think about 3 or 4 dates daily is too much sugar? I'm very fortunate in that I don't have diabetes or any similar disorder, so don't really need to watch my BSL. However, I do have a bit of an addiction to potato crisps, which I've decided to cut out. Even though they are the better ones of what's available - only ingredients are potatoes, sunflower oil and sea salt, and claim to be slow cooked - they can't be a good thing to have regularly. I am around 15kg (33lb) overweight and they are my only vice. As I've been adding 3-4 dates to my smoothies lately, I wonder if this would be undoing the good I'm doing by not eating chips.
