Guest guest
To Moonbeam and list, Moon, I appreciate your information; I am still researching deuterium sulfate. Your quote was concerning deuterium OXIDE or " heavy water " . The compound I am interested in is deuterium SULFATE. I forwarded your post to a chemist I am in touch with. Here is his response: " Much of this is true. Much is not known. Deuterium Sulfate is just sulfuric acid in which the hydrogen (protium) has been replace with deuterium. This has to react somewhere--I know not where, but eventually most of it has to end up as heavy water. My best guess is that it is healthier to leave the deuterium out. I have gone so far as to price deuterium depleted water (DDW) by the drum from Rumania. On the other hand I have heard that deuterium sulfate kills cancer and has other healing properties. I am still gathering information before I make a decision. There just has not been enough research. " A friend at the university here and I are actually thinking of setting up mice experiments (that is what she does, then examines slides of the organs.) It has been suggested we have a control group with three experimental groups, testing, D2O, D2SO4, and DDW [Deuterium oxide (heavy water), deuterium sulfate (sulfuric acid with deuterium replacing the protium hydrogen), Deuterium Depleted Water.] The products on the market, Hydroxogen and Cellfood, contain deuterium sulfate. Production has not been constant since this product was first created some 50 or so years ago, but one of the companies claim there are no REPORTED problems with its use. However, there are also no studies I can find. For those of you who haven't followed this, what the deuterium sulfate does is break down the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen in the body, resulting in increase in both. Many health benefits are claimed, and Ed McCabe just last year wrote two rave articles about it for one of the companies. As a slight aside, I have been talking to the president of and a distributor for one of the companies. Yesterday I sent an email outlining rather intelligently I thought my concerns to each, and my sense that the profit motive was driving the company to sell a product not thoroughly researched. Today I got back an email from the distributor: the only info it contains is a report of how much money he just made on the check he just got. That's it. It just makes me want to cry. It is hard to accept that profit can blind people so to common sense. And at the moment, it makes me feel everything said about MLM's is true (or maybe it's just more obvious with MLM's) I continue to explore this. My next step is to write to Ed McCabe and see what he thinks now. He DID find the product helpful. My concern is not that the product is helpful, in the short run. I think it is, and that is what continues to intrigue me. My concern is the long term effect, and I don't know if Ed considered that. Guest guest
----Original Message Follows---- Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1998 19:37:56 -0800 oxyplusonelist From: Vilik Rapheles <vilik@...> Reply-to: oxyplusonelist Subject: deuterium sulfate From: Vilik Rapheles <vilik@...> Just wanted to let you all know that in my ongoing quest for truth, knowledge and the next adventure, I am going to be trying CELLFOOD in my very own body. I found a non MLM distributor who is giving me a bottle to try, and I am simply too curious not to. Ed liked it, in fact Ed raved about it, and it didn't kill him.... so what the hey... I also discovered that there is one company that makes the product and sells it to the other companies, who " tweak " it by adding something or other to make it their own " unique " formula. So, whatever the name, Hydroxogen or CellFood, it's the same deuterium based product. A rose is a rose is ... just another name for the same thing. I am still exploring all information I can find about this. I am very curious as to what I will feel when I take it, and will let you all know. Maybe I should get a geiger counter to see whether I become radioactive. Watch and see if my emails start to glow... Peace, health and adventure, Vilik ___________________________________________________________ Hi Vilik! I'm GLAD that you're willing to try the Deuterium Sulfate! I've NOT had any personal experience at all, but have studied some about it. It was originally a drain cleaner called Open All! If I remember correctly, the reason that the health benefits were promoted was that the people who used it heavily for cleaning Sewer Drains and who got some on them were saying that various health problems, that they had been having were going away and/or had already GONE! It really sounded INTERESTING, but then I got involved into Ozone & H2O2 and forgot all about it, until it was mentioned a few times on the OxyList and this List! By the way, I have a few pages from the discoverer, Everett Storey's book (don't have a title), that I'll copy and send to you, if you want, that you may NOT already have. This info is about the various uses for the body and for other cleaning purposes and was put out by Deutrel Laboratories in Santa a, CA. " Thanks " and your Activated Charcoal is going OUT this afternoon! Tom/Psalms 150:6!
