Sort of stumped

Had a visit with my homeopath (also an MD) we were discussing my blood sugars.

They are slowly improving. (without meds) I was going pretty much low carb until I started the green smoothies. At first they didn't raise my blood sugars much, but then not sure why, but the BS's jumped up and after my smoothie, They are higher than they were at first. I am not on meds, am trying to beat this naturally. One thing that helps is to

Do my exercise videos (walking videos) after my smoothie and it brings it back down.

So I am stumped as to what to do. I don't want to give up my smoothies, but I want the BS to go down too, and the weight loss is sooooo slow. The smoothies are the biggest calories.

Just venting. I know every person is different. I have read where the green smoothies were helping peoples blood sugars.
