Thank you to everyone for the powdered sugar help...

Couple of things, I may have done too much at once, I put about 2 cups in, I

did do it on high, I only have the wet container... it " looked " like

powdered sugar after I was done, however it was still very grainy when I

tried to use it to make icing. I did it for about 45 seconds to a minute

when I did it...

I will add the cornstarch and try letting it run a bit longer next time...

Thanks again everyone!!

I was thinking about how I discovered there were un-ground sugar granules packed in the corners when I tried to make powdered sugar in my wet container. In addition to adding the cornstarch, perhaps you could scoop it out with a big spoon and leave the stuff in the corners next time. I bet the corners is where the most of the "graininess" in your batch came from… The dry container definitely prevents things from packing into the corners and escaping the blades. 2 cups should be doable - it would take longer, but it should be possible. I wouldn't go higher than 2 cups though, and it is just me, but for grains I prefer to do only one cup at a time of COLD grains (in an attempt to minimize as much as possible any damage to the enzymes in the flour due to heat).
