Guest guest
Hello - I need some more advice Lea Ann, , ............. I bought some Whole Nectar at Costco yesterday, then went to a local wellness show and listed to a speaker named n Brazier. He is a local Vancouver boy (triathalete and vegan)and has his own line of food. He was very inspiring so I bought some of his Whole Food Health Optimizer. Here are the ingedients: http://myvega.com/content/ingredients-whats-vega-whole-food-health-optimizer The Vega has way more calories but I was thinking about using only half a scoop in a smoothie. My question is - which one should I take back or should I just give them both a try? Hel also has an omega 3 oil that looks good, if anyone has time to check that out too. Thanks in advance for your expert opinions. Leanne
Guest guest
Even though I sell it, I'm not a huge fan of the soy protein powder (due to the fact that it is a highly processed form of soy and that soy is not great for people with thyroid issues - ie LOTS of people, many undiagnosed). However, if you are going to use a soy protein powder, I believe that the Whole Nectar is a VERY good one as it is non-GMO, Organic, and has only 1 gram of sugar where most protein powders have around 15 grams! If you go with the "all things in moderation" line of thinking, and if it is not used as a daily food source, I do think it gives an excellent texture to my ice cream recipe making it more like a sherbet than a sorbet. The ingredients in the Whole Food Health Optimizer look AWESOME to me!
