Guest guest Posted April 28, 2011 Report Share Posted April 28, 2011 Hey, - I'm gearing up for our 18 day folk festival camp out next month, and I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to work out taking my Vitamix with me. I won't have electricity in my camper, though there is electricity on the campground. I just cannot see myself lugging my machine around everywhere looking for an outlet to plug it in... then turning it on, just to see the crazy looks (and sometimes maybe not so friendly expressions) on hippies' faces when I turn the thing on and let it run for a minute or two, lol. Didn't you mention something about a system of some sort that you have for running your machine when you are camping without power? a generator? or solar panels big enough to run it? Please - enlighten me so that I don't have to deal with crazy, angry hippies - yikes!
