As I think that I told you, my daughter recently underwent the second

half of her bilateral adrenalectomy. I have a question though. How

long will it take for her BP to stablize in a somewhat normal range.

She is still posting numbers too high for her age range but much

better than her previous numbers? They have recently put her back on

norvasc and I have to check her each day to make sure that her bp is

not dropping into a dangerously low range before I give the BP meds.

The docs have mentioned that it may take a while for her renal veins

to relax and return to their normal elasticity and then they have

also mentioned that there may be permant damage from the

hypertention. I think they called it " nercrosis of the kidneys " . I

am starting to become concerned that it is the last choice as it is

still not coming into range. Any insight you have would be great.

We do have a solucortef injection and I am very familiar with how to

use it. I should have given it to her but I lost it when she started

seizing as I have never had that happen before I was unprepared for it

that time. I will be ready if there is a next time. HEatherW
