Guest guest
Hello no_reply , In reference to your comment: ! It's been six weeks for me and I've only lost one pound. ! Is this normal? I have heard to go by measuring tape not by scale or weight. Is this the general consensus? Just checking. I have also heard you may gain some weight but loose inches. Jen ( \-----/ ) ) . . Guest guest
Can you post some sample menus? That's always the first thing I try to evaluate when I hit a plateau. Guest guest
Here are some suggestions I got from the lean and strong board. These are just suggestions though: Eliminate or reduce processed carbs (bread, pastas, etc.) Limit fruit to one serving per day Don't have protein shake as last meal of the day; have cottage cheese meal with other carb source. Rethink your free day Colleen > Well I haven't lost any inches either, and I'm doing EVERYTHING by > the book. Guest guest
Fruit though natural is high in sugar. So that is probably why they are telling you to limit it. Some people can eat fruit with no problems others for weight loss need to reduce their intake. We are not supposed to have more than 2 helpings of fruit a day anyway. Hope this helps -- - In @y..., Charmaine Pocek <cpocek@y...> wrote: > Colleen, > > Wonder why they said to limit fruit???? Guest guest
<<We are not supposed to have more than 2 helpings of fruit a day anyway.>> That's not true. You could use fruit as a carb portion at all six meals and still be following the plan precisely.
Guest guest
, this is exactly what Stace said cause she knows I'm a fruit phobe. No more than two portions for me a day which she says is nuts. I feel a little better because I do have a fridge full of kiwis which I eat skin and all so guess I won't be stingy with them. Thanks, I'd really rather use fruit as a carb instead of something too starchy. Stasia
