Guest guest
Here's a recipe I use: 1/3 cup oatmeal blended to powder form 1/2 cup cottage cheese 2 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp peanut butter I mix it all up in a blender but don't blend too long. Sometimes I'll add 1/4 cup of canned pumpkin also. If it is too runny for you, you could probably increase to 1/2 cup oatmeal. Also if you go to www.leanandstrong go to libraries and pics and the cooking library you'll find quite a few protein pancake recipes. Guest guest
The recipe I use is: 1/3 cup oatmeal blended to powder 1/2 cup cottage cheese 2 egg whites 1 tsp peanut butter sweetener to taste vanilla Blend ingredients and cook like pancakes. Sometimes I have a hard time getting the middle " done " without burning the pancake so I trick I've learned is to cook up a batch and then pop them in the toaster for reheating. I top them with sugar free maple syrup or brown sugar twin and cinnamon. Colleen > Someone recently posted a recipe called " protein pancakes " that had > cottage cheese and oatmeal. Guest guest
i tried Maggie's pancakes and they were great. They were even better later in the day when I put them in the toaster and they were nice and crisp. tnanock wrote: > Maggie, would you repost the recipe for the pancakes? > > Also, the cottage cheese pancakes I've tried before are really gooey > on the inside....am I not cooking them long enough or what? > > Thanks. > > Kim C. > > > > >
