Thanks for all who sent me messages asking about my condition.  I had a 3

in 1 laproscopic abdominal surgery this morning.  I had my gallbladder removed, a hernia repaired, and my spleen " looked at " . Almost 2 months ago, I ended up in the hospital with gallbladder issues. While in there,

I had a CT done of my abdomen.  The CT revealed a mass of sorts on my spleen.  When the surgeon was in there today looking around, he was unable to get a good look at it but was able to tell that the spleen looks " healthy " overall. 

I came home about 4 hours ago and my mom and I cooked lunch using my

VM,  I " baked " 5 medium potatoes in the microwave.  Sauteed a medium onion with 1/2 stalk of celery, garlic, and mushrooms until the onion and garlic were slightly tender.  In the VM, we chopped a carrot then added the onion, celery, garlic, and mushrooms as well as 4 of the potatoes (quartered). Added some chicken broth and heavy whipping cream and a 1 inch square of sharp cheddar cheese and some salt.  Started VM on variable 1 quickly turning up to 10 then on to high.  When it was " done " , reduced it to variable 1 and added the remaining potato to it.  Served with some sharp cheddar sprinkled on top and a dollop of sour cream and a handful of crackers. It was YUMMY!
