Guest guest
Add 7 oz. commercial KT or distilled white per gallon of tea but try it with 3 (or 4 if your vessel has room) liters instead. 1/3 cup sugar per liter gives me a good result; quarts, which are a bit smaller, would result in something likely too sweet for me with a similar amount of sugar. I like to keep my measuring simple, i.e., not making adjustments if I can avoid it, and this ratio that combines standard measurement with metric does the trick with no muss or fuss and my result is excellent pretty consistent--a rather dry, fizzy beverage that's just a little sweet-tart. Unusual uses for VM....was my first smoothie I emulsify a Scobie from my Kombucha and use it as a skin 'lotion' Carol K ________________________________________________ <<I think the teaching part is important. I had my Vitamix for years and just used it as a "blender". Once I learned to use it for so many other things it became indispensable. Once people realize it's more than just a blender they can justify the cost. Get a bag of chips and make the Pineapple Salsa (or use mango). I expect to see demos with unusual stuff like hand cream with a free hand massage. Home made dog food. etc
