:-)I do local "home party" demonstrations (and of course I'd do home parties anywhere in the U.S if my travel expenses were covered ;-) and I'll have to think about incorporating the hand cream with massage :-)

Lea Ann I think the teaching part is important. I had my Vitamix for years and just used it as a "blender". Once I learned to use it for so many other things it became indispesable. Once people realize it's more than just a blender they can justify the cost. Get a bag of chips and make the Pineapple Salsa (or use mango). I expect to see demos with unusual stuff like hand cream with a free hand massage. Home made dog food. etc Tony

Re: My first smoothie....

Thank you. Not to brag or anything (well, ok, I'm bragging) but my very FIRST show I broke the store record for sales :-) I know is was more due to my "teacher" abilities than to my knowledge of the machine back then. I don't consider myself a sales person - I'm a teacher and I'm educating my audience about what the Vitamix can do (it sells itself once you know…)

I used to teach High School History…

There is nothing quite like that first smoothie. I have to tell you that I've had my Vitamix for close to 4 years now and I'm STILL excited to use it every day! (especially when I'm trying something new!)
