Did your test results state the two different ranges for supine or

upright?

Mine was back in about 48 hrs I believe. I didn't want to use the hospital I work at because they use a reference lab for any tests not done in-house and it takes anywhere from 5-7 business days ! Maybe they send it out ? I would think yours should be ready any time. Lori

How long does an aldosterone and renin test usually take? I had mine done last Thursday. I talked to the doctor yesterday and it wasn't back yet, she thought today, but still no word. I also dropped of the 24 hour urine on Friday and no word on that.

Probably, it's Kaiser so you would think they would do it there. But regardless

it's not back, so probably was sent out. Thanks!

today, but still no word. I also dropped of the 24 hour urine on Friday and no

word on that.

All depends on your location and where you get the test done. If you are in Mayo Clinic, it takes one day. In Northern California it takes well over two weeks because they have to send the tests to Mayo. Not all labs are capable to doing the Aldosterone/Renin tests.

If they send it out it will take a week. We used to get them back the next day when we did them ourselves.Same for urine aldo and Na. May your pressure be low!Clarence E.
