Guest guest
This is a question for Le Ann or any one who knows about cashew cream? I see that you posted a video for cashew cream and mentioned as well you eat it with waffles? I was wondering what is the recipe you use for cashew cream? How long does cashew cream keep in the fridge? What other things do you do with it? I am interested in making it but concerned about what to do with it, and eating too much at once...sort of thing Thanks!!Jane
Guest guest
I do have a hard time not eating too much it is so good! :-)The recipe is 1 cup of raw cashews (soaked over night). In the morning, drain off the rinse water. Add the soaked and drained cashews back into the container. If you add water to just even with the top of the nuts you make a thick, almost whipped cream mix. Add more water and the more you add the thinner the "cream" - you can make something like a dairy creamer substitute.I add a decent amount of Stevia. I like my cashew cream to be really sweet. I also often add cinnamon.Take the same concept and add bullion or salt and you make a dip or gravy. There are LOTS of recipes and videos for cashew cream or cashew gravies online to give you specific measurements.ENJOY!
