Guest guest
Hello everyone. Hope your Thanksgiving was safe and happy. I think that I posted awhile back about having some strange behaviors. She was stretching, pulling her legs up and basically trying to twist herself into a human pretzel. The reponses I got were basically the same as what her doc said. Probably just her way of dealing with the onset of puberty. She has still not sttarted her period. Lately she has been constipated and has not been eating a whole lot. She has always been pretty picky but she has her old reliables but she has not wanted to eat then either. I don;t know if she is not eating becuase her belly is full with being constipated or if she is constipated because she hasn;t been eating!! I ask her if she has any pain in her belly or anywhere else and of course the answer is always no. We weighed her and she has lost about 12 lbs since her last check up which was around July. Granted I was concerned that she had gained too much weight but her doc was not since she had gotten taller. They have been watching her thyroid as she has the antibodies for both hypo and hyper thyroidism. I am at my wits end. How do I get extra healthy calories into her thereby helping her go to teh bathroom? Should I be concerned and take her back to the doctor. She is 13 BTW.
