Guest guest Posted July 31, 2005 Report Share Posted July 31, 2005 hi everyone! sorry that i havent been around for a few days... it is a long weekend here and ive been quite busy! i have been working out, just havent had time to report in and talk about the stuff that i have done. last week, i managed to get my workout done right away in the morning 3 times! i did 8 workouts in total -- a couple of kickboxing sessions, a slim series workout, a couple of step workouts, a 60 min bike ride, ab work and some light aerobics. so it was a pretty good week! im shooting for more morning workouts (and therefore i hope to be able to fit in more bonus workouts in the evening as well) this week. im off to a good start because i did get up this morning and got my workout going right away. that workout was two episodes of TOTAL BODY SCULPT with gilad from fit-tv. man, i really dig that show! one workout that i did last week that never got reviewed was SELF: FIRM FLAT ABS FAST with voilet zaki (who also does crunch:cardio sculpt). at first i thought the workout was going to be too easy but i got more interested as it progressed. this is an excellent tape for variety! however i wish it were longer and that more reps of each exercise were done. good for beginners and intermediates. there is someone who demonstrates beginner modifications for each exercise. i like violet quite a bit and she looks really ripped and darkly tanned in this workout. violet and 2 female friends do the workout outside, on a beach, with beautiful blue water and sky behind them -- this will be a good workout to do this winter. there is a bonus cardio workout on the dvd but it is really short. it is violet by herself doing one combo of typical floor aerobics -- after she goes through it once, she tells you to repeat the combo yourself as many times as you like. really nothing to get excited about unfortunately. also i didnt have time to review WALK IT OFF WITH GEORGE: AB WALK (george foreman with petra kolber). this workout is just like the other george/petra workouts but focuses on a few standing ab exercises. lots of twisting. i was surprised at how many reps of each exercise petra did, which was a good thing. i had to modify UP in order to get a good workout from this one but i still like george and petra and their gang and will keep this workout in my collection. :*carolyn. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
