Guest guest
Hi all, Since I told you my sons issues I thought I should update you all on his test results. His CT scan came back negative for a brain tumor YEAH. While they were playing around with all this stuff I decided to do my Mom job and diagnosis him myself. If you all remember we had major issues early last year and it was found out he had scoliosis and pulled muscles. He went thru numerous tests. (BTW I found a report in his x-rays from 6 yrs ago saying he had a curve!!!! nice of them to share). They insisted he didn't have it until they finally did a total spine and found it. Since then he has been to many therapies and was deemed fixed. AHEM. He has complained repeatedly of cheek and forehead pain. They teated him over and over for a sinus infection. Finally they did a sinus CT and his sinuses were clear as a bell and that was not the problem. During all this time he has complained of shoulder pain and that also made him complain of forehead pain. next he had servere face and forehead pain constant all day and night. Does anyone even pay attention to the fact that he holds his arm close to his body? NO! So off to all these darn experts AGAIN. In the meantime Dr. MOM decides to check this all out some more and finds if you touch his slumped shoulder his face hurts! Interesting. So it comes down to the trigger points in his shoulder from the scoliosis are causing pain in his face. Off to a trigger point cranialsacral massage expert and in 2 visits his back is straighter, his shoulder is going back into position and his face pain is almost totally gone!~ So if you got this far I thank you for listening to my ravings. Trust your instincts. Jean BTW they now what to yank his tonsils and fix his deviated septum. Sigh. No mention of any of these issues until they started checking the head pain. He has had both of these problems since birth. Doing these surgeries will help him sleep. Are you all sure we can't get a refund on our kids?
