I'm putting on my flame-retardant suit now . . . and hoping that this entire message will be read - and understood.(signed in advance)Namaste,em / TN A while back I commented on how difficult it is to follow posts that have umptydozen previous posts "tagging along." Apparently I'm in the minority here, since it didn't really seem to bother anyone else who replied to my concern (and one reply commented how that post was the only one that ever replied with an entire digest. Actually, someone else did that, and I was using it as an example of "what not to do").Then, about a week ago someone asked a question about a topic, mentioning that she hoped she could locate the original information, since the subject lines are seldom changed to reflect what the message is really about. The following is a good example of both conundrums. First, the message has nothing to do with Tony, and then the message goes on and on and on with previous posts:

HAAAAAAAA! Well, you can stop NOW! The cows DID come home this morning, and my

oldest and best milk cow (Abigail) has been getting busy with the neighbor's

beef bull again, and I have another lil calf on the way!! SO THERE!

>While I enjoy the group, these two points can be really frustrating. Someone can write a three line message, but include fourteen previous messages at the end of what they have written. As for not changing the subject line, I'm sure that I've missed some really good info, because what the message is really about has nothing at all to do with the subject line.Hey there - you might want to clarify this - it appears that you are chastising Davinna for failure to read previous posts before replying. I know that can't be what you meant, but that is what it looks like to me and Davinna seems so eager and happy to post, I'd hate for her to interpret this wrong and stop posting…

the typed word can be so hard to show intent :-)
