I'll just use sesame seeds whirred up instead of the prepared tahini. terry Spiced Carrot Spread - Serves 4 Published in: Everyday Food, page 53 Publish Date: February, 2011 Ingredients 6 med Carrots -- thinly sliced 1/2 small clove garlic 1/4 teaspoon cumin -- ground 1/4 teaspoon ginger -- freshly grated 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon pinch cayenne 1 tablespoon Tahini 2 teaspoon lemon juice salt and pepper Instructions Steam carrots until tender, about 12 minutes. Transfer to food processor along with the other ingredients and process until smooth about 1 minute adding 1 or 2 tablespoons of water if needed. To store, cover tightly and refrigerate up to three days.
