HI Sharon and everyone

My daughter is now married, we were able to go to the beach (Destin, FL) and

Sara started school Aug 14th. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeew all in a 2 week time span lol

's wedding was awesome and beautiful (Black and Ivory were her

colors), she was soooooooooooo beautiful !!!!!!! and I had hubby in a tux lol

OOoooohhh I had to fight off the tears when came down the isle, she and

Mike took my breath away. All of my children were part of the ceremony (Sara

was a Junior bridesmaid) in fact all of my nieces, nephew and grandson were

all in the wedding party. Family came from all parts of the country for this

and I felt like it went by to quick. No one warned me that the mother of the

bride has to talk to EVERYONE at the reception. 's boss cornered me and

talked my ear off for 45 minutes lol my new son in law rescued me lol

I arrived in Memphis a week before the wedding, insisted that I go

to her bachlorette party during the week ....... my sister went too

............... I think I was the " designated sober person " who kept everyone

together

and on the limo as we hit some of the hot spots in Memphis. let Sara

ride in the limo before we all left for the night ............ SARA loves

limos!!!!! anyway the day after we arrived in Memphis A HORRIBLE stomach bug hit

Sara and I on the same night ......... we vomited for 12 hours, the next night

it was Kaite and 2 days later it was hubby. The whole week we worried who

was going to get it next, we figured out the incubation period and and

Ben should have got it the day before the wedding (rehearsal) but God smiled

and the bug was gone. Needless to say that was a very stressful week for

with her house contaminated with this bug lol Well anyway the wedding

was

great my only complaint was the mother of the bride wore a cocktail dress

(she was bra-less too) to impress her ex at the wedding, her son was sooooooo

embarrassed (Mom is having a mid-life crisis ...... another story) oh and she

only said 3 words to ............. I foresee not a happy relationship

between and her new mother in law lol good thing they are moving

here and away from her heehee

Florida was great, a free fancy resort for us paid by hubby's work and I

really got to relax no stomach bug there lol

Sara's now in 8th grade with a new teacher, she moved here from TX, she came

over to visit the Sunday before school started and she seems very

intelligent, she's been a teacher/administor for 28 years I think she said. Im

not

babysitting this year so I'll be able to keep a better eye on Sara's program

this

year

OK this is way to long, life is calming down, Im still working on the house

but Im getting more computer time!!!!!
