If the young adult is getting SS benefits from a parent who is a SS

recipient, then she gets more than SSI payments. With that, it puts her

over the income guideline for SSI. She could go on a spend-down for

medicaid services. Rick is very well versed in this. Medicaid and Medicare

are two different things.
