I think this is an excellent plan for those determined folks who WILL clean and use their juicers. (who will comment on this post when she gets back from class) has a Norwalk Juicer (I covet one) and uses it and her Vitamix both just like you. I would love to juice greens in a Norwalk. I also like carrot juice as a sweetener in my smoothies…

After 6 or 10 years hard to say as time fly's as you get older; I missed the nice tasting juice minus the pulp from the juicer so It came back on the counter and I now use it in conjunction with the vitamix and the combined efforst of each working together has made a better juice...........

I like to say that my Vita-Mix and Norwalk live side-by-side on my counter like a happily married couple!

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise--the Norwalk does an AWESOME job of juicing leafy greens. And it's a breeze to clean, too--no screens to scrub. But you have to rinse and occasionally launder the cloths/bags although they're a lot easier to deal with than a clogged juicing screen. Juicing and smoothies both have their place.

Lea Ann, , and is it Kim?, are all on board for Norwalks when I win the lottery. :) A wondrous machine although I'm a big fan of the Champion, too.

We've already determined that I want Blue - but since it is the Lottery you are winning - I think I'll splurge and ask for the stainless to match my Vitamix.

Stainless ROCKS. That was always my choice but I have to say that when I saw a little green one in person, I was sorely tempted. It was so cute!

Since we are talking lottery here, could you put me on the list for a white one to match my vitamix? Thanks! ;-)

Fortunately for you, it's an easy matter to switch the voltage on it. :)

ROTFLMAO (Any color preferences?)

I'm pleased to see that we have so many members who appreciate a good appliance when they see it!

Re: my vitamix got married

Oh Yes put Joanna's name on that Norwalk juicer too! LOL

I have only been in this group a day or so, but do I qualify since I

have owned and used a VM since 1977? If so, make it black to match

my fancy new VM! if it comes in black. My fav color is really blue,

or maybe stainless would do? Thanks so much for letting me in on the

fun here at the VM Enthusiast group. To think up till 3 days ago I

had never even heard of the group!
