Guest guest Posted January 2, 2001 Report Share Posted January 2, 2001 If you can find some dried Alkanet root, crush 2 teaspoons and heat in a bowl with a about 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil over simmering water for 15 to 20 mins or longer until the colour is deep enough for what you require, then strain.
