My living room has morphed into a veritable gym, my

prize piece of equipment is my standing kickboxing

bag. When you're pissed off at someone there's

nothing like puttin' on the gloves, cranking up the

stereo, and havin' at it!

Over time I have accumulated a six tier step, a

variety of dumbells (I wrote an essay on that once), a

barbell set (cheap at Wallmart) Pilates balls (again,

cheap at Ross), yoga mat, athletic mat, yoga strap,

medicine ball, 3 stability balls, resistance bands,

etc. Yes, it is quite a toybox, and I love it! I

actually *use* these things wtih my workout videos

because sometimes they are required equipment.

Of course you can do many workouts without equiment

and have a less cluttered existence. Yoga practices

are up there in my favorites and pilates rocks too

(Robin actually has a reformer!). Hi-Low can get you

the cardio without a step, and Tae Bo and other cardio

kickboxing tapes are great for that too.

Cathe's workouts do require dumbells at the very

least, as do the Firm's. However, they are kick @$$

workouts and can really transform your body!

I am a person who craves/thrives on variety, so I

" need " these accesories, but I'm convinced you can get

into terrific shape without them.

At work on my break I do 20 flights of stairs and that

always kills me.

Okay I'm done rambling for now! I gotta get to class.

My sister's coming today so I gotta make sure it's an

extra good workout for everyone today!

Uppercuts,
