Yes, you are correct in that synthetics can resemble pure essential oils.

This is why I distill my own and do not depend upon others. I had some a very

bad experience in 96 and decided to distill my own aromatics. I have found some

suppliers to make false claims about their essential oils, once a supplier even

went so far as to claim his oregano cured strep B, the bacterii that causes

strep throat.

What I encourage others to learn research techniques and to implement them into

their aromatherapy practices, be it for family and friends or on a professional

level. I have a wonderful doctor that is scheduled to attend my next

seminar/tour in Lebanon. Dr. Kirk-, he is a specialist in this

area. I am very excited about his presence and to learn from his teachings:)
