Plateau's

My daughter (11)is transitioning to middle school next year

(ouch)

I know her OT is planning to recommend no further services, as in her

opinion has reached a " plateau "

Of course I do not agree for many reasons.....(when I plateau on a

diet I don't stop dieting)

I figure it's as much about money as anything, but was looking to see

if anyone had any ideas, thoughts, research to help me.

After a few " building years " in elementary we had a great team with

IEP's of little challenge........we knew teachers, routines etc....I

can't say I am looking forward to starting again, but I will. (I also

know they want to put her in a self contained classroom- but that's

another battle as well as another email!)
