Guest guest
Wow, Thank you now yes you have me wanting one! So what brand is yours? Carolyn In a message dated 3/8/2011 12:22:19 P.M. You can take round steak, which is normally tough, and sear the meat, (brown quickly on both sides) pressure cook it with onions and celery and whatever you want, add water, pressure cook for like 20 minutes, make gravy and have wonderful tender Swiss steak ( my Swiss steak has always been with gravy, not tomato based) Cooks rice or veggies in less time. Takes 2 minutes to cook a pot of fresh green beans. Takes at least 30 minutes to boil them. And I believe the pressure cooker would leave more nutrients in them. k -- Re: Re: OT - FYI Canola Oil> > Date: Monday, March 7, 2011, 8:59 PM> > > > I do get the diet coke craving once in a while too! Guest guest
y would you pressure cook unopened cans of condensed milk? What does that do to them? Carolyn In a message dated 3/8/2011 4:33:55 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, kareningotham@... writes: Mine's a Cuisinart, too but there was no non-stick option when I bought mine (1990 at the latest). It has held up all these years but the only time I used it without the liner was to pressure cook unopened cans of sweetened condensed milk to appease my Russian then-boyfriend (and believe me, it was a lot better than the garbage they import from Russia). Guest guest
I think that is the same as my mom's. I am sure that was its name and it looked like a dinosoar.
