What I can't figure out is if I am craving the sweetness or just the wholesomeness. I don't add any sweetener. They are sweet enough. I have been trying to be off sugar Since this fall, unless I fall off the wagon. And limiting starches except for veggies. I wasn't eating much fruit during this time either, maybe some apple. So these smoothies are quite sweet to me and I am loving it. I quit losing too. I drink 1 glass in the morning is all. But I am craving it. It could be the nutrients that come with the smoothies my body is craving. Or it could be the sweet............. I need to start making the soups more and find things in that dept I like. Three or so big spoonfuls of beans, what ever frozen veggie I grab from the freezer about a cup or so worth, ham base from penzys to taste (beef or chicken bullion would work okay) 1 1/2 cup hot water. Whiz it up until hot and steamy. For texture you can ad more beans at the end while running on speed 1 or 2.
